Bridal Skincare 101
You’re entering your bridal era, the vision for the day is developing and you’re looking at hair and makeup inspo. It’s VERY exciting!
But, here’s the truth. Your makeup is not going to sit well, or look as flawless, if you don’t start working on your skin now (or at least a good 6 months before the big day). If you’re a Grace Olivia Bride, I will be on hand for any skincare questions and we will have a good chat at your trial on a pre-wedding pamper plan. But for now, here are some tips to get your started.
Regional Finalist at TWIA 2025
WOW. I am a finalist at The Wedding Industry Awards 2025. Did I just write that? This is the first year I have entered and I can’t believe I am through to the regional finals for the South Central region.
Laura’s Wedding at Parley Manor
Laura and Dan got married in August at Parley Manor (my most popular venue this year). Laura went for a beautiful fresh makeup, that complimented the whole vibe. Think peaches (we went for Charlotte Tilbury Bitch Perfect on the lips), soft focus skin, the cleanest smallest eyeliner wing you ever did see, and very subtle brushed-up brows. Her flowers were pastels including yellows, lilac, peaches, and whites. Everything was soft and romantic. I love how she contrasted the vibe with a more structured dress with a power neckline, extending across one arm. Obsessed.
An introduction…
I have always loved makeup, ever since my aunty used to hand me down Chanel powders and eyeshadow palettes and we’d go shopping in Selfridges when we’d visit family in Manchester, I just loved it! It just so happened she was quite fancy which made me think I was fancy so I was sucked in by the luxurious brands, made-up beauty counter ladies, the posh packaging, the new makeup smell. This obsession never leaves me, and she is who I thank to this day for my career.
