Regional Finalist at TWIA 2025

WOW. I am a finalist at The Wedding Industry Awards 2025. Did I just write that? This is the first year I have entered and I can’t believe I am through to the regional finals for the South Central region.

It has been quite intense. I have been updating my application for months, getting in touch with brides to vote for me (so many did, I cried every time), taking as many photos as I could (and being hypercritical) of my work for the past year. Then, on Monday 30th September you could no longer change your profile and voting closed. It was all in the hands of the expert judges. I spent Tuesday constantly refreshing my screen until finally, I received the email saying ‘Congratulations, you are a TWIA 2025 finalist!’

I am up for Makeup Artist of the Year 2025 for the South Central region, and oh my, some amazing artists are joining me in the category. I am blown away, and it’s so wonderful to be amongst such talent. The finals take place at Silchester Farm on Wednesday 27th November. I am going with my husband, and what a treat it will be to dress up for a night out! I will be sure to update the blog on my progress!

Finally, to the brides who have spent time voting for me, and sending me good luck wishes and now their congratulations. Thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support. I literally could not have got this recognition without you! Booking me to do your wedding makeup, and supporting my small business keeps me in a job I love, and helps me live the life I want to lead for me and my family. You are all the most amazing people and how amazing is it that I get to be there on one of the most special days of your life.

These awards have pushed me out of my comfort zone, and it has been so worth it because of all of you! So have everything crossed for me for the finals, and let’s party!
